Quality Manager
£40-50,000 + Car or £7,911 Allowance
Essex
Full-time, Permanent
Key Skills: Quality Manager, QA/QC, ISO9001
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee two factory facilities with both automated and manual processes. You will drive product quality, enhance quality assurance systems, and implement continuous improvements.
Quality Manager responsibilities:
Develop/implement QC and QA procedures
Maintain quality documentation (manuals, procedures, work instructions)
Evaluate and improve QA processes for consistency
Lead cross-functional quality improvement projects (Lean methodologies)
Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications
Prepare for and participate in external audits
Analyse quality data, identify trends, and generate reports
Collaborate with procurement to maintain supplier quality standards
Conduct supplier audits and assessments
Train teams on quality standards and best practices
Work closely with product development, manufacturing, and engineering to integrate quality at all stages
Support customer service in resolving quality-related issuesRequirements:
Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field and ideally relevant qualification (CQM, CQE, etc.)
Strong quality management experience from manufacturing industry
In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 standards
Proven ability to implement and lead quality improvements
Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality management software
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with regulatory bodies and requirementsBenefits:
