Job Description
Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Shift: Days (Monday-Friday)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Company Overview:
An national provider of construction solutions for a range of industries including Architectural, Agricultural and Building Products, this position has become available to ongoing business and contract growth.
Quality manager role and responsibilities:
Monitor concrete testing at factories to ensure compliance with national standards and specifications.
Maintain and update approved concrete mix designs in coordination with the Technical Team.
Ensure all Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) are up-to-date and relevant to manufactured products.
Identify, report, and manage non-conformances effectively.
Prepare clear and concise technical and management reports.
Support product and material trials, including innovation initiatives.
Communicate regularly with Technical and Quality Teams to ensure alignment.
Promote and ensure compliance with company policies, including health and safety.
Stay current with industry standards and apply new knowledge to improve practices.
Undertake additional tasks as requested by Senior Management.Previous Experience:
Experience in architectural and structural precast concrete manufacturing.
Strong technical knowledge of concrete technology and statistical analysis.
Excellent numerical, measurement, and cross-referencing skills.
Methodical problem-solving and attention to detail.
Strong time management with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, interacting at all levels.
Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently within a team.
Excellent planning, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
