If you are experienced in quality systems and food safety compliance within the food and drinks industry, with an meticulous eye for detail and a passion for upholding high standards in food safety and audit readiness - this could be the ideal role for you.
You'll be working with a respected and fast-paced business in the food and drink sector, known for their commitment to delivering high-quality products and maintaining strong customer partnerships.
They're now seeking a Quality Systems Co-Ordinator to join their technical team and play a key role in maintaining and developing their compliance processes.
A key member of the technical team, you will take day-to-day responsibility for managing the site's technical compliance documentation and ensuring all systems are audit-ready at all times. This role is central to keeping quality processes robust, accurate, and aligned with both internal standards and customer expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and updating the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ongoing compliance across the site.
Ensuring that all documentation linked to accreditations and customer standards is accurate, current, and well organised.
Coordinating internal audits and supporting external audits as part of the wider compliance calendar.
Managing supplier and grower due diligence records, ensuring information is tracked and up to date throughout the production cycle.
Liaising with teams across operations, growing, packaging and commercial to ensure consistent compliance across departments.
Supporting the delivery of technical and quality-related training where required.
Assisting the Senior Technical Manager on ongoing compliance projects and initiatives.
You'll need to demonstrate:
Previous experience in a compliance, technical, or quality-focused role within the food and drink industry - ideally with fresh or chilled products.
Strong understanding of third-party audit frameworks and customer-specific standards.
Familiarity with managing document control systems and QMS platforms.
Good working knowledge of retailer requirements and online specification systems.
Confident use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database tools.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
Desirable (but not essential):
HACCP training (ideally to intermediate level).
Internal audit experience or training.
Exposure to managing quality across both site-based and grower operations.
