Drywall Quantity Surveyor
Location - Cheshunt, Hertfordshire
Salary - £60,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Drywall Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and well-established team within the drywall industry. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall installation and related services, ensuring all costs are accurately accounted for.
* Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, materials, and labour needs.
* Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate costs, and resolve any issues.
* Provide accurate and timely reports on project financials, including cost forecasts and variations.
* Ensure all works comply with industry standards and regulations.
* Assist with tender submissions and contract negotiations.
* Oversee the procurement process for materials and subcontractors.
* Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure the smooth running of projects.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on drywall, ceilings, partitions, plastering projects.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project lifecycle.
* Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong working relationships with clients and suppliers.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., RICS accreditation) is desirable, though not essential.
* Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
