QUANTITY SURVEYOR – Tier 1 Main Contractor | £45,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Car/Allowance | Peterborough + East Midlands Projects

Specialising in new build housing, care homes, and retirement villages, this role will see you working on meaningful, high-quality residential developments that genuinely impact communities. The first stop is Peterborough, with future projects stretching across Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, and Leicestershire.

🏗️ What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Quantity Surveyor on these exciting projects, you’ll be the cost control champion, making sure every brick, beam and bolt adds up. Here's what your role will involve:

Preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets

Managing financial performance throughout the project lifecycle

Procuring and managing subcontractor packages
*
Tracking project costs and producing regular reports
*
Risk identification and value engineering
*
Reviewing drawings and identifying commercial impacts

Administering and managing JCT contracts
*
Supporting tender and bid processes
*
Driving cost savings and efficiencies
*
Client and stakeholder liaison
*
Managing change control and variations
*
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
