Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected client who specialises in building services. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
About the Role:
As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of a range of building services projects. You'll work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective delivery of works from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
·Assisting in the preparation of tenders and cost plans.
·Measuring and valuing work done on site.
·Supporting the management of subcontractor accounts and payments.
·Assisting in the preparation of monthly valuations and final accounts.
·Ensuring compliance with commercial procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
·Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field.
·Some relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within building services.
·Strong numerical and analytical skills.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
·Full UK driving licence (due to travel between sites).
