Quantity Surveyor - High Rise Developer - Liverpool
Salary: £58,000 + Attractive Package
Our client, a prominent high-rise developer in Liverpool, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Role Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and commercial matters on high-rise development projects. From the initial stages through to project completion, you will ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
Manage the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiations
Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions
Monitor project costs and report on cost control, ensuring projects are kept within budget
Identify and manage risks, variations, and changes to the scope of work
Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
Provide support and advice to senior management and project teamsRequired Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the high-rise or construction sector
Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration
Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation is desirable)
Excellent communication and negotiation skillsWhat's on Offer:
