Quantity Surveyor – Residential Developer
Up to £50k DOE plus company package
Location: Warwick

About the Role:
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor. At present they are expanding their business and have many new projects starting in the Nottingham area. Your duties will include but not limited too:
· Prepare draft budgets and site start budgets for each project assigned to the Quantity Surveyor.
· Generate quarterly valuations and conduct material “cost to complete” assessments for each site under the Quantity Surveyor’s responsibility.
· Process sub-contract payments and final accounts, ensuring they are signed off by the sub-contractor.
· Create sub-contract orders, ensuring they are authorized by the designated representative and include all necessary documentation to comply with Group Commercial Policy.
· Manage cost control and monitor changes effectively.
About the benefits / rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £55k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
Requirements:
· Degree preferred
· Performed a similar role within the construction industry
· Current CSCS card or equivalent is desirable
· A keen interest in construction
· Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
· Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines
· IT literate and the ability to adapt to new systems
