Job Description
Are you a confident Quantity Surveyor with a solid background in high-end residential construction? One of Hampshire’s most respected luxury housebuilders is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Basingstoke.
The Role:
This is a crucial position within a growing commercial team, reporting directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor. You’ll be responsible for managing your own workload across several bespoke housing developments – all high-spec, low-volume, and privately funded schemes. With full commercial oversight, you'll be involved from procurement through to final accounts.

You’ll need:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a stand-alone Quantity Surveyor, ideally within housebuilding
* Strong knowledge of procurement, cost reporting, and managing subcontractor packages
* Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
* A commercially driven mindset with a focus on detail and value
