Job Description
QUANTITY SURVEYOR - SOCIAL HOUSING - REFURBISHMENT
A leading and well established social housing refurbishment main contractor are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor. The Quantity Surveyor will be working out of their South East London office reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor and Managing Director. Projects that the Quantity Surveyor will be working on will be mainly schedule of rates:
DUTIES:
* Supporting the Commercial Lead in contract cost management
* Production of monthly updated CVRs for each project
* Weekly measurement and valuation validations
* Procurement and management of supply chains
* Maintaining the commercial risk register
* Cost analysis and cost reduction initiatives
* Contract reviews and cost analysis
ABOUT YOU:
* Professional Quantity Surveyor qualifications
* Proven relevant experience, with a high level of commercial awareness
* Ability to analyse problems and offer solutions
* Extensive experience in managing supply chain accounts and valuations
* Experience in risk management to support operational teams
* Good communication and problem solving skills
* Excellent IT skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
