Description
Managing all costings related to construction projects from the initial calculations to the final figures
Assessing the financial risks of projects and making recommendations to mitigate these
Acting as a liaison between clients and contractors, ensuring clear communication at all times
Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment and other documents
Advising on procurement strategy and assisting in establishing a client's requirements
Valuing completed work and arranging payments
Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current useProfile
A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
A degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement options
Excellent numeracy and financial management skills
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in relevant software applications
A commitment to continuous professional development
An analytical, problem-solving mindset
An understanding of health and safety regulationsJob Offer
A competitive day rate of approximately £300 to £350 per day
