Job Description
I have been asked to find a number of experienced quarrying/heavy earthworks professionals to join my client in Oban, Argyll (Western Scotland).
One of these is a Quarry Works Supervisor (Works Manager) opportunity.
These opportunities are to work on a facility extracting building and civil engineering materials on one of this company's flagship sites.
The ideal candidate will have either long-term experience as a Quarry Works Manager or alternatively bulk earthworks experience at Works Manager/ Site Manager/Supervisor level. In this role you will be working with earthworks, quarrying, rock armour production and quarry restoration works.
There will be very high levels of HSEQT compliance on site due to the nature of the work and those already experienced in this sector will understand that the working environment can be challenging at times.
During the working day you will usually stay on site and all meals will be provided- a 10/4 shift pattern is normally worked but this can be amended to suit individual preferences based on the successful applicants location.
On offer is a salary of up to 75k (with room for negotiation for exceptional candidates) along with a benefits package including a 4x4, fuel card, laptop, phone and the usual pension etc..
There is also the option to work on a daily rate of around £300- again with room for negotiation.
