Role: Reactive Drainage Engineer
Salary: £40,000 p/a plus overtime and on-call bonuses.
Location: Bristol
Hours: 5am - 4pm Mon-Fri, 50 hours per week. Overtime available

Attega Group is currently working with a leading commercial drainage company in the UK, is expanding its Reactive and Remedials team and seeking a talented individual to carry out planned & reactive maintenance
About the Role:
As a Drainage Engineer, you will play a crucial role will be responsible for supporting with reactive call outs and remedial work.

Key Responsibilities:
Must demonstrate technical knowledge and competency in undertaking internal and external investigation works, above ground and below ground descales with use of HPWJ and mechanical coring/ milling equipment.
Must be competent in operating electrical mechanical coring equipment and Picote milling machines for internal drainage clearance works.
Competent in operating HPWJ equipment
Capable of investigating and tracing external underground drainage systems on commercial and industrial sites.
Must have a passion for problem solving and coming up with solutions for all areas of reactive drainage works.
Strong attention to detail and a customer focused attitude.
Competent in attending reactive emergency call outs to clear internal above ground blockages, including soil stacks, floats lines and small bore pipework.
Capable of identifying configuration and design issues within internal drainage systems.
Competent in undertaking CCTV survey inspections where you will be responsible for identifying defects, pipe condition, design issues and misconnections within underground and above ground drainage systems.
Must be a self-motivated individual and it is important that you have excellent people, communication and customer service skills.
Leak tracing and investigation on above ground water services
Repairing leaks on water services in service voids and risers.
Removing and replacing small bore waste pipe on pot wash sinks, basins, urinals etc
Replacing mixer taps, wash down taps and spray guns
Replacing toilet float lines and stack pipework
Removing and Installing cast iron soil pipework
Supporting drainage operatives with internal drain descales.
Using CCTV equipment to support leak investigation.
Taking water samples to confirm source of leaks.
Hold a current UK Driving licence.
The Ideal Candidate:
2 years experience as a Drainage Engineer.
1 year experience with plumbing.
Confined Space Trained
OS19X
A full UK clean license.
