Reception Teacher
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual ready to make a real difference in a child’s life? We’re seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Enfield—a school that celebrates inclusion and believes every child deserves a high-quality education.
This full-time, permanent role is to support a child in Reception on a 1:1 basis. The student has SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs and requires a calm, patient and encouraging adult to help them access learning, build confidence, and feel safe and supported throughout the school day.
You’ll be joining a large, established, and inclusive school community where the belief that every child has the right to reach their full potential runs through everything we do. The staff are warm, collaborative, and passionate about creating a nurturing environment—and you’ll be welcomed as a valued and essential member of the team from day one.
What we offer:
• A vibrant, successful school environment with a focus on wellbeing and inclusion
• The opportunity to work closely with experienced teachers and SEN specialists
• Ongoing training and professional development
• Supportive leadership and a genuinely lovely staff team
• A chance to make a long-lasting impact on a child’s learning journey
We’re looking for someone with experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEMH needs, particularly in the EYFS or primary phase, who is proactive, empathetic and eager to learn.
If you’re ready to be part of a school that truly values its pupils and staff, apply now
