We have school that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping young children's learning experiences and development at a crucial stage in their education. This role is for September 2025.
Duties as a Reception Year Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel confident and valued
Observe, assess, and track children's progress, using this to inform planning and individual support
Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through structured activities and free play
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to deliver high-quality early years education
Develop strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on children's progress
Maintain high standards of behaviour management and encourage positive interactions among pupils
Contribute to school-wide initiatives, staff meetings, and professional development opportunitiesIdeal Reception Year Teacher:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience or strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Be passionate about early childhood education and child development
Demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm in lesson planning and delivery
Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment
