Job Description
Noreaster Refrigeration is a Service, Maintenance and install service provider for the retail, food and beverage and hotel, restaurant and catering sectors. We have a vacancy for a Refrigeration Engineer available within the Service & Maintenance Team working on multiple contracts, reporting to Regional Operations Manager covering London , home counties and surrounding areas dependant on engineers geographical location. Successful applicant must have current Fgas qualification.
Job Type: Permanent.
Full Time Salary: £35,000 to £47,000 per year, depending on experience. Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• To carry out reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems
• To undertake preventative maintenance work as required
• To cover 24 hours, call out on a rota basis
• To receive, respond and advise on calls passed from the Service Office
• To carry out or assist on installation work, when required.
• Achieve a high first fix rate.
• Carry out the completion of all electronic job logs after each completion.
• Be polite at all times to clients and always be willing to help.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and tidy at all times inside and out.
Experience and Key Skills:
• Capable of hands-on problem solving with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
• Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks.
• Strong communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Commercial awareness.
• Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental issues.
• Relevant Refrigeration certification i.e. city & guilds in refrigeration
• Microsoft office and handheld mobile devices
