My client is a leading manufacturer of custom-made steel door solutions in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area. They are looking for a Regional Sales Manager providing support to both new and existing customers.

You will be responsible for:
Communicating with existing customers to ensure opportunities to quote and secure contracts
Using the Sales Database to track and contact existing and potential customers
Using other resources i.e. internet, trade journals etc with a view to potential future business
Locating and targeting new markets for our products
Planning and prioritising activities and customer / prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales
Planning and managing agreed territory according to an agreed market development strategy
Managing product pricing and margins according to agreed aims
Assisting in preparing customer estimates for work and supporting the internal sales team as needed to generate customer quotes
Using customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and updating relevant information held in these systems
Responding to and following up Sales enquiries using appropriate method
Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
You will have:
3+ years experience in a similar sales role
Familiarity with door manufacturing and hardware (highly desirable)
Familiarity with modern manufacturing techniques
A good standard of Maths and English
Good time management and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Ability to take ownership of tasks through to completion
Resilience and the ability to maintain control with a large workload
