Job Description
Job title: Research Officer
Location: Eastleigh
Hybrid - 3 Days in Office
Key responsibilities:
* Develop methodologies for research and data collection, utilizing techniques such as surveys, focus groups, and in-depth interviews to ensure rigorous evidence-based research.
* Perform quality assurance tasks for research projects, overseeing outcomes from external research agencies.
* Plan, oversee, and execute qualitative and quantitative research initiatives, encompassing design, facilitation, analysis, and presentation.
* Conduct comprehensive secondary research on critical topics (eg, homelessness, climate change) to proactively support strategic planning and decision-making.
* Analyze data and research findings to produce tailored high-quality reports and summaries for specific audiences, both internal and external.
Skills and Experience required:
* Extensive hands-on experience in delivering primary and secondary research in a market research or business setting.
* Hands-on experience in delivering qualitative research projects, designing discussion guides, facilitating interviews and focus groups, analysing qualitative data and producing actionable reports and recommendations.
* Hands-on experience in delivering quantitative research methodologies, survey design, using statistical techniques to analyse data and producing actionable
* reports and recommendations.
* Experience in designing, managing and delivering multiple research projects concurrently.
* Excellent research, analytic, communication and report writing skills and ability to gather, analyse, summarise and report on insight accurately.
* Degree in a research related discipline or relevant professional qualification eg Market Research Society is advantageous.
* Excellent numerical skills and the ability to interrogate information and problem solve with a logical and objective approachBefore You Apply
