Salary: £12.21 - £12.50 per hour
🕒 Shifts: 24-hour shifts (including sleep-ins), typically 2–3 days per week
❗ Must have experience in Learning Disabilities (LD)

About the Role
As a Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner, you'll play a crucial role in providing high-quality residential care for children and young people with Learning Disabilities, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. You’ll help create a safe, nurturing environment, ensuring effective service delivery and positive development for those in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
✅ Providing structure, boundaries, and routines within a supportive home environment
✅ Leading shifts effectively and overseeing staff to ensure best practices
✅ Supporting young people through pro-social interventions and direct key work
✅ Collaborating with colleagues and external professionals to meet individual needs
✅ Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safeguarding policies
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Experience working with children who have Learning Disabilities
🔹 Knowledge of safeguarding practices, regulatory frameworks, and Ofsted/CQC guidelines
🔹 Strong leadership and team management skills
🔹 Passionate about supporting young people in a therapeutic and structured setting
🔹 Willingness to undertake training and ongoing professional development
