Location: Manchester | Start: September | Salary: Up to £29,000
Are you a Science graduate with a background in Chemistry or Physics, or are you currently working as an unqualified teacher, eager to gain your Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)?
Join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Manchester this September through a salaried teacher training programme - an excellent pathway for aspiring educators who want to earn while they train.
This school is seeking passionate individuals to strengthen their Science department. You'll be fully supported throughout your training and will work closely with experienced mentors.
What You'll Get:
- Full-time salaried position (term-time only)
- Up to £29,000 per annum
- Full mentoring and training to achieve QTS in 12-15 months
- Experience teaching Chemistry or Physics in a classroom setting

Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a degree in a Science subject
- Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry or Physics
- Enthusiastic about a career in education
- Some prior experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring or teaching) is beneficial
- Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English (certificates required)
- Must have been a UK resident for at least 3 years
- Confident to lead 12+ teaching hours per week from the start
