We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Account Manager with a solid background in the construction industry, specifically in site-based solutions (e.g. lighting, communications, equipment rental, safety systems, security products etc.). The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of proven sales experience in a construction or civil engineering environment and a strong network within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction sector.
* Promote and sell site-based solutions to contractors, builders, developers, and project managers.
* Conduct regular site visits to assess customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
* Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations.
* Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Keep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in sales within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction site processes and requirements.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to site locations regularly.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with technical or engineered construction products.
* Existing network of contacts in the construction industry.
* Background in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
