Job Description
Trainee Sales & Property Management Agent
Cheltenham. £25/27K. Permanent
Interesting and varied role where no two days are the same! Our Cheltenham based Property Management and Estate Agent is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the team. With over 30 years experience of lettings, sales and property management our client offers full training, excellent working conditions and a small friendly team.
Candidates will need an interest in property sales, confident in communicating both face to face and over the phone and have the desire to offer a first class service to both tenants and Landlords. After training the successful candidate will manage their own portfolio of properties!
Key duties will include:
* Carry out face to face property viewings with a view to letting or selling properties
* Follow up on sales leads
* Logging maintenance issues from tenants
* Liaising with landlords & contractors to obtain quotes and effect repairs; ensuring properties are safe and legally compliant
* Carrying out routine property visits
* Preparing properties for move-in, including inventories
* Handling tenants vacating the property and move-out inspections
* Negotiating the return deposits at the end of tenancy
* General administration
Candidates core competencies:
* Strong communicator with a confident telephone manner
* Educated to A level standard
* 1 -2 years experience of working in a customer service based role
* Keen to learn
* Microsoft IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* A full driving license is essential
