Sales Estimator - Needham Market / Stowmarket
Full-Time | Temp to Perm
Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm
£25,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
A well-established manufacturing/construction company based near Needham Market/Stowmarket, is seeking a Sales Estimator to join its team. This a temporary role with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on technical drawings and project specifications.
Interpret and assess engineering drawings to create tailored project estimates.
Source and manage costings from both existing and new suppliers.
Maintain a strong understanding of the product range, manufacturing processes, and installation considerations.
Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through to order placement, ensuring a professional client experience.
Handle customer calls, emails, and enquiries efficiently and knowledgeably.
Support procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing aligned with estimates.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Monitor industry trends and maintain awareness of commercial opportunities.
Attend client meetings as required to review requirements and present proposals.Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Sales Estimator position:
Experience in estimating or technical sales within the construction industry a bonus.
Strong understanding of technical drawings and the ability to translate them into detailed quotes.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.
