Sales Manager (industrial electronics) with prospects to Sales Director
The Company
The company manufactures high quality custom electronic products to UK clients in the defence, automotive, security and med-tech industries and is very well established with around 40 employees and growing profitable revenues in the region of £8m.
The Role
Is a new position, reporting to and working alongside the MD to develop and grow the sales pipeline initially though attending trade shows and exhibitions, building and maintaining relationships, monitoring customer and new prospect activity and industry trends and creating and following up quotes and proposals.
The Benefits
Apart from a base salary of £40-50k (depending on experience) plus bonus plus company car (or car allowance) the successful applicant will be very close to the centre of influence and decision making in the business. and when the time is right (hopefully sooner rather than later), the MD is keen for anyone who comes in and delivers results to assume full responsibility for the company's sales and marketing strategy and operations as Sales Director
