Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager – Battery Storage Solutions for Modular Data Centres Location: Europe (Remote / Field-Based) Industry: Energy, Data Centres, Battery Storage Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Negotiable from £55,000+ base, plus performance-based incentives About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in battery energy storage systems (BESS) and modular data centre infrastructure. In this strategic role, you'll be responsible for driving B2B sales across Europe and the UK, targeting organizations investing in scalable, sustainable energy infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have experience working with infrastructure providers such as Rittal, Eaton, or similar, and a deep understanding of the commercial and technical aspects of battery storage in modular construction. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the end-to-end sales process for battery storage units within modular data centres. * Build and manage a high-value pipeline across enterprise, public sector, and infrastructure markets in Europe and the UK. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized proposals and technical solutions. * Engage directly with clients, partners, and integrators to ensure project alignment and satisfaction. * Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client meetings. Requirements: * Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in energy storage, modular construction, or data centre infrastructure. * Demonstrated success in managing long sales cycles and closing high-value deals across Europe and/or the UK. * In-depth understanding of BESS and modular data centre technology. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. * Able to work independently and manage competing priorities remotely. * Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office. * Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage. * Willing to travel within Europe and the UK as required. Preferred Experience: * Experience working with or selling to companies like Rittal, Eaton, or Schneider Electric. * Familiarity with UPS, power distribution, and containerized infrastructure. * Understanding of European energy regulations and data centre sustainability standards
