Job Title: Sales Manager – Dust & Fume Extraction

Job Overview
Our client is seeking a driven and technically proficient Sales Manager to join their Products team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, supporting key accounts, and providing expert solutions in dust and fume extraction across a designated geographical area.
Key Responsibilities
*
Identify and develop new business accounts (Installers/OEMs) within a defined region
*
Manage and support existing key accounts to maintain strong client relationships
*
Conduct site surveys and customer visits to assess requirements
*
Calculate extraction rates using industry standards (e.g. HSG 258, ACGIH ‘Industrial Ventilation’)
*
Determine system pressure loss for correct fan sizing
*
Select and size filtration equipment based on air-to-media ratios
*
Prepare detailed quotations using internal configurator tools
*
Maintain and update CRM with sales tracking and customer activity
*
Demonstrate a proven ability to close sales and meet commercial targets
Experience & Competencies
*
Strong knowledge of ATEX regulations and their application in dust and fume control
*
Proven field sales experience in the dust and fume extraction industry
*
Demonstrated success in managing a customer base within a geographic sales territory
*
Commercially astute with strong business acumen
*
Highly proactive and results-oriented
*
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
*
Competent with standard IT systems and CRM software
*
Willingness to travel as required
