The Position – SaLT Learning Support Assistant
Qualiteach have a great opportunity for a SaLT Learning Support Assistant who is seeking a full-time permanent role from September. The candidate will carry out 1:1 support and group therapy programs that have been set out by the speech and language therapist and the school SENCO. The SaLT Learning Support Assistant must have strong communication skills as you will be working with the child, their family and other staff. The SaLT must be organised with their timetable, as well as being able to implement the childs timetable according to how they’re getting on. As well as this, you must be able to take notes and keep written records of therapy sessions and must be able to follow an Individual Educational Plan.

The school is based in Chingford and is a large Primary school that has a Nursery within the area. There are currently 700 registered pupils at the school
