Job Description

As a Science ECT, you’ll:

Teach general Science across KS3 and specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at KS4
*
Plan engaging, inquiry-based lessons with a strong focus on practical learning
*
Work with colleagues to develop cross-curricular STEM initiatives
*
Use data to track and support student progress across abilities
ECT support includes:

A trained induction mentor with weekly coaching sessions
*
Reduced timetable and protected planning time
*
Access to high-quality CPD and subject-specific training
*
Opportunities to contribute to wider STEM and enrichment activities
What we’re looking for:
*
QTS (or on track to achieve it by July 2025)
*
A degree in a scientific discipline
*
A passion for science education and innovative pedagogy
*
Commitment to inclusive and reflective practice
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
