Job Title: GCSE Science Lecturer - 16-25 High Functioning SEND

Salary: £25ph - £40ph

This lovely and unique college is looking for a supportive and motivated Science Lecturer on a permanent contract. To support students with mainly Biology and Chemstity the right candidate will have experience with SEND and have the right nature and approach to mak a real differnece to these young peoples lives. The successful candidate will have experience working in an SEN care environment and will go above and beyond to get the best out of the students. The role will directly impact the student's pass rating allowing them to move into full time employment or on to higher education.
Support students with learning difficulties and disabilities to become empowered so that they can fully access the curriculum and successfully achieve their programme of study through their development of greater independence

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Science - Great industry experience and a recognised teacher qual with also work
Be committed to raising student achievement and promoting a love of science
Bring energy, creativity, and a collaborative approach to the role
Knowledge of learning disabilities and/or special needs
Ability to plan and prepare educational activities to meet specified needs and review their effectiveness
Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and promptly, at all levels, verbally and in writing
