Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity in a supportive and dynamic secondary school? If so, GSL Education seeks a motivated Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Haringey.
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in various science subjects, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of key concepts. You will assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics) following the national curriculum.
Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for Science and achieve academic success.
Differentiate lessons to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress, ensuring high educational standards.
Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and share best teaching practices.
Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
Requirements:
QTS or a relevant qualification.
Applications from experienced TAs or Cover Teachers considering teaching are also welcomed.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and contribution to the school community.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
