Science Technician:
Within this highly rewarding Science Technician opportunity you will find yourself preparing equipment and teaching areas for practical classes, maintaining equipment and teaching areas whilst supporting teachers in practical classes.
As a Science Technician you will also be helping students to obtain the most out of their learning experiences, carrying out administrative tasks which will positively impact the smooth running of the science department.

Science Technician – The role:
Ensure science lessons & environments are setup safely
Contribute towards the school’s science department
Work with students across KS3 & KS4 lessons
Maintain equipment and teaching areas
Health and safety compliance
Responsible for stock management & online ordering
Science Technician – Qualifications / experience required:
Strong knowledge of science – degree level of education
Ability to communicate and demonstrate this knowledge effectively to staff and children.
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Can work individually and as part of a team
Level of IT competency
Up to date DBS check
