About the Role
As a Science Technician, you will work within school science departments to support the teaching and learning of science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing, setting up, and maintaining laboratory equipment and materials
Ensuring health & safety protocols are followed at all times
Supporting teachers with practical demonstrations and experiments
Maintaining stock and ordering supplies when necessary
Cleaning and safely storing equipment after use
Requirements
We're looking for candidates who have:
Previous experience working as a Science Technician in UK schools or laboratories
A solid understanding of COSHH regulations and lab health & safety
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Flexibility and willingness to work across different schools when needed
