Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Systems Engineer to join the Sea Ceptor Weapon Systems team to support Export New Business activities.
This role performs the duties of leading Systems activity across multiple export bids and programmes and reports to the Head of Export New Business Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary Systems interface for the Export New Business team
• Provide technical support, cost base generation, and bid input across multiple export opportunities
• Manage and maintain the Sea Ceptor Generic Documentation Suite and associated Statements of Work
• Forecast and manage Systems resource planning and alignment with programme needs
• Ensure coherency with Domestic New Business and delivery teams
• Opportunity to take ownership of a delivery programme in addition to new business support
The successful candidate will have:
• Strong Systems Engineering lifecycle experience
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple fast-paced programmes
• Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills
• Understanding of bid processes and technical documentation
• Awareness of RTC and DOORS is beneficial
