Salary - Up to £57,000!
Location - Bristol

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead systems engineering activities supporting export new business efforts for a cutting-edge maritime air defence system with a growing international presence. The successful candidate will serve as the primary systems interface to the export business development team, overseeing planning, budgeting, delivery, and quality assurance across multiple concurrent bids and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include managing system cost bases, coordinating resource planning, maintaining technical documentation, and ensuring alignment with both export and domestic strategies. The position also involves supporting technical queries, stakeholder engagement, and potentially leading systems work on a live programme, offering both strategic oversight and hands-on project delivery experience.

Proven team player with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, essential for fostering collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams and strengthening cross-functional relationships.
Demonstrates a proactive and flexible approach, capable of managing multiple concurrent programmes and bringing clarity to complex or evolving requirements.
Highly delivery-focused, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a dynamic project environment.
Solid understanding of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, with the ability to apply it effectively across varied programme contexts.
Familiarity with bid lifecycles, and awareness of tools such as IBM Rational DOORS and RTC, is beneficialFor Security Clearance reasons to work this role you must have British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship
