Tradewind Education is recruiting for a motivated and adaptable Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Warrington. This exciting position involves providing 1:1 support to students across different year groups and subject areas.
The Role:
Position: Secondary Teaching Assistant
Location: Warrington
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Salary: £89.94 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with varying needs across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Assist teachers in delivering lessons, supporting learning objectives and adapting activities to meet individual student needs
Work across different year groups and subjects, offering flexible and proactive support
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Support with behaviour management, emotional well-being, and academic engagement
Requirements:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting (desirable but not essential)
Strong understanding of supporting students on a 1:1 basis
Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and year groups
Confident in building positive relationships with students and staff
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
