Job Title: Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor
Location: Manchester Hybrid - 1-2 days WFH
Salary: OTE £70,000 - £100,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm
About the position - Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor:
We're looking for an experienced Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join a high-performing team in Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to put your financial services expertise to work in a role where you'll guide clients through the mortgage process, providing expert, personalised advice to help them make informed decisions.
Ideally, CeMAP qualified with Competent Adviser Status (CAS), you'll have a proven track record in a similar role and a passion for delivering outstanding client service. In return, you'll be joining Salford's largest estate agency, giving you:
A steady stream of high-quality, pre-qualified leads booked directly into your diary
Full admin and back-office support so you can focus on advising
Clear progression opportunities, including potential to move into managementEarnings:
45% commission on leads provided

Responsibilities required for the role of Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor:
Working closely with a busy estate agent, dealing with pre-qualified mortgage leads
Assess clients' financial situations to identify suitable mortgage options
Provide expert advice on "whole of market" mortgage products
Providing tailored protection advice including life, critical illness, and income protection
Liaising with lenders to facilitate/expedite the approval process, offering regular updates to clients
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and recommendations
Working closely with our in-house financial advisor, offering an additional service to clients if required
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and changes in mortgage regulations
Working with attention to detail, maintaining high compliance standards under FCA guidelinesExperience required for the role of Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor:
Proven track record within a similar role
CeMap qualified, ideally with CAS status
Results driven, able to find solutions
Customer focused, with excellent communication skills
Keen eye for detail
Pro-active and motivated approach
