Job Description
We are looking for a committed and resilient SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist setting in the CV22 area. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them to overcome challenges and succeed in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs
*
Assist with learning activities and ensure that individual needs are met
*
Support pupils in building emotional resilience, confidence, and self-regulation skills
*
Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to implement personalised support strategies
*
Maintain a calm, positive, and consistent presence across the school day
Required Experience
*
Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable
*
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
*
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*
Ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and families
