SEN Teaching Assistant (No Experience Needed) - Term Time Only
Location: Near Berkeley, Gloucestershire
Salary: £22,102 - £24,103 (actual salary, depending on experience & qualifications)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Term Time Only
£1,000 Welcome Bonus (T&Cs apply)
We're looking for a caring, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting pupils aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you're new to education or looking for a meaningful career move.
What You'll Do:
Support pupils in and out of the classroom to help them achieve their learning goals.
Promote positive behaviour and independence in line with individual needs.
Assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom organisation, and care routines.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students who may present with challenging behaviour.
Work closely with therapists and other professionals to support each student's holistic development.
Be a key part of a supportive and inclusive team that celebrates small wins and individual progress.What We're Looking For:

Patience and the ability to adapt to different needs and situations.
Willingness to learn - previous experience in education or SEN is welcome but not required.
