About the Role
As an SEMH Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH.
* Provide a structured, nurturing, and safe learning environment.
* Support students' academic, emotional, and social development.
* Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour with a calm and consistent approach.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Teaching Assistants, therapists, and external agencies.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
* Experience teaching students with SEMH, either in a specialist or mainstream setting.
* A strong understanding of SEMH and associated behaviours.
* Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.
* A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
