Location: Camden
Salary: £90 to £110 per day (dependent on experience)

GSL Education is seeking a committed and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a special school in Camden. This is an exciting opportunity to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and make a real difference in their educational journey. Prior experience in an SEMH setting is preferable.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH and moderate learning needs.
Assist in managing and supporting students with behavioural challenges.
Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning strategies.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all students.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is desirable.
Strong communication skills, patience, and a supportive approach to working with children.
Ability to manage challenging behaviours while maintaining a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
