About the School We are a large, inclusive and well-resourced SEN school in Redbridge, catering to a diverse cohort of pupils with complex needs including Autism (ASC), Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), Speech and Language Needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. The Role We are seeking a committed, creative and passionate SEN Primary Teacher to join our outstanding team in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive environment where your work will make a real impact every day. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual EHCPs and developmental needs. Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and external professionals to support pupils holistically. Foster a positive, structured and safe classroom culture. Use a range of assessment tools to track and celebrate pupil progress. Promote communication, independence and emotional wellbeing across all activities. Actively contribute to school-wide initiatives, family engagement and continuous improvement. About You QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - Primary phase or SEN specialism preferred. Experience working with children with SEND, especially ASC, MLD, SLD or SEMH. Confident using alternative communication systems (e.g., PECS, Makaton, AAC). Empathetic, flexible and committed to inclusive education. Strong team player with excellent communication and reflective skills.
