SEN Teaching Assistants – Multi-Academy Trust (York Area)
Supporting children and young people with special educational needs
£13.68 – £15.00 per hour
A supportive and forward-thinking Multi-Academy Trust in the York area is looking for compassionate and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team on a flexible, short-term, and day-to-day basis. Roles are available across both Primary and Secondary schools, working with pupils with a range of special educational needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.

What we’re looking for:
We are keen to hear from SEN Teaching Assistants who are:
Experienced in supporting children and young people with SEND
Calm, patient, and nurturing in their approach
Adaptable and able to respond to a variety of needs and behaviours
Confident working 1:1 or in small groups to support learning and emotional development
Passionate about inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
Reliable, proactive, and committed to making a positive impact every day
