SEN Teacher – Norfolk
Teaching Personnel is seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor to support learners in Norfolk.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a patient and adaptable tutor to provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs. The role involves delivering personalised lessons in English, Maths, and other core subjects, helping learners develop their confidence and academic skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver individualised lessons to meet the needs of SEN students
Support students with conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties
Use creative and engaging teaching strategies to support different learning styles
Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
Monitor student progress and provide structured feedback
Requirements:
A teaching qualification (or relevant SEN tutoring experience)
Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
Strong understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style
A DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
