SEN Teacher A SEN school in Chorley is seeking a SEN Teacher to join their team ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to support children with complex learning needs in a nurturing and forward-thinking environment. A formal SEN qualification is not required, but a strong commitment to supporting children with additional needs is essential. About the Role: The successful candidate will work with children aged 2 - 19, focusing on communication, independence, self-care, and social development, alongside core subjects such as English and Maths. Rather than prioritising formal assessments, the school aims to equip pupils with essential life skills to help them thrive beyond the classroom. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A genuine passion for SEND and the drive to make a meaningful difference in children's lives. Experience in primary or secondary education, with the ability to adapt teaching for a range of needs. A creative approach to learning, using interactive and practical strategies to engage pupils. Strong teamwork skills, working closely with LSAs, therapists, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
