SEN Teacher Location: Ashford Salary: £120 - £250 per day Contract Type: Casual Contract, Part Time Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We at GSL Education Kent are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming SEN & SEMH school community in Ashford on a part-time, casual contract.  The school is committed to providing inclusive education and support to students with a range of SEN & SEMH. They are fully dedicated to helping young people and their specific needs, including but not limited to Asperger's Syndrome, Dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, Tourette's Syndrome, and other sensory and communication disorders. The school believes in creating a nurturing environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential. With a strong focus on tailored learning approaches and wellbeing, the school offers a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Teacher to work alongside dedicated staff who value creativity, adaptability, and compassion.  As an SEN Teacher, you will work closely with experienced SEN professionals to deliver tailored learning experiences for students with diverse needs. Your responsibilities will include: The delivery of lessons under the guidance of lead teachers Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Providing one-to-one support and small group interventions Collaborating with SENCOs and other staff members to create inclusive learning environments Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the teaching team To be considered for this SEN Teacher role, you must: • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Have experience working with children and young people with SEN, particularly ASD, SEMH, or learning difficulties. • Be flexible, patient, and committed to inclusive education. • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
