SEN Teacher - Full Time - West London - September Start - Temp to Perm
Location: West London
Salary: £140-£240 depending on experience
Contract Type: Temp to perm
Start Date: September
A specialist SEN school in West London is looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Secondary Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and adapted lessons tailored across KS3-4 to the needs of students with SEN
Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCOs to support student development
Differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and complex needs
Monitor and assess student progress, implementing individual learning plans where necessary
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working in a special education setting or supporting students with SEN
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
Ability to adapt teaching methods to support individual learning needs
A commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all students
