Job Description
A highly regarded SEN secondary school in Slough is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher (ECT welcome) to join its compassionate and forward-thinking team from September 2025.

As an SEN Teacher, you’ll:

Teach small classes across a flexible curriculum suited to learners’ needs

Use creative and adaptive methods to support communication and engagement

Collaborate with therapists, TAs, and families to deliver EHCP targets
*
Create a classroom culture built on patience, structure, and emotional safety
Support includes:

Weekly mentorship and access to experienced SEN practitioners
*
Internal and external CPD, including autism and communication strategies
*
Opportunities for rapid development and leadership pathways in SEN
What we’re looking for:

QTS (or expected by July 2025)

Interest in or experience with SEND (school welcomes ECTs with a SEND passion)
*
A reflective and adaptable approach to teaching
*
A commitment to teamwork and safeguarding
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
