Join Our Team: SEN Teacher Opportunity in Thanet Are you passionate about transforming the educational experience for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Position: SEN Teacher for Primary or Secondary aged pupils Location: Thanet, Kent Type: Long-term, Full-time About the School: Pupils are aged 2 to 19 with SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs). The Role: As an SEN Teacher in Thanet, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and support students with a variety of learning needs. You'll design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse abilities within your classroom. Working collaboratively with a dedicated team, you'll create personalised learning plans, track progress, and provide consistent support to ensure each student thrives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN students. Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported and respected. Work closely with parents, colleagues, and external agencies to create effective learning plans. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records in line with school policies. Engage in professional development to refine your SEN teaching skills. What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching students with SEN, ideally in a school setting. Strong knowledge of strategies to support various learning needs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
