Job Description

Aspire People are seeking passionate and dedicated Supply SEN Teachers to work across a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools and Alternative Provision settings in Northamptonshire. We are looking for qualified teachers with a strong understanding of inclusive education who can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and MLD/SLD. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to pupils with diverse SEN needs - Plan and adapt lessons to accommodate individual learning needs and EHCP targets - Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment - Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and other professionals - Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records - Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies - Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed at all times Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - Experience working in SEN settings or with students with special educational needs - Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - A proactive and resilient attitude - Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one) - Right to work in the UK Who are Aspire People?
