Are you an SEN Teacher/School Leader/Therapy Assistant looking for a new challenge?   Are you an ECT looking to gain experience in an SEN school?   Would you like to work in a NEW SEN school in in the heart of the Croydon?   Create Education have partnered with a new SEN school in Croydon and we have multiple positions such as head of lower school, head of upper school, SEN teacher, SENDCo, Therapy assistants. The pupils have diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and Severe Learning Difficulties. However, despite their individual challenges, the school are committed to enabling each and every one of their pupils to thrive, develop, and lead fulfilling, happy, and as independent a life as possible. The schools mission is to create, adapt, and implement functional curricula necessary to meet the diverse individual needs of our student population and increase current and future independence. Key Responsibilities:   Deliver engaging and well-structured science lessons that support student progress and understanding Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives Monitor and assess student achievement in line with school policies Participate in the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular activities The successful candidate will: holds Qualified Teacher Status for teaching positions; is able to demonstrate the ability to adapt the curriculum delivery to cater for all pupils’’ needs; has the ability to implement personalised goals and objectives to address the core features of SEN, based on each pupil’s strengths and identified needs; is able to demonstrate they are able to organise themselves and others; is able to be flexible in their approach to working and works as a member of a team; brings to us a positive “can do” approach and is keen in being trained in the appropriate techniques and strategies; exhibits strong teamwork skills, along with the ability to take on leadership roles when necessary; shows a commitment to their own professional development; o demonstrates effective personal organisation, communication, and ICT skills; o has a proven record of good to outstanding practice in their career; possesses some prior experience of working with pupils with special educational needs or is keen to work with our pupils.This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their expertise in SEND education while making a genuine impact.
